What does my rally entry entitle me to? Your rally ticket allows you to camp at the rally site for the weekend. There will be live entertainment on both Friday & Saturday nights, and also a variety of foodstalls and a bar service. Your rally ticket also allows you free spectator entry into all of the racing events (excluding the Longtrack and Bluff Hill Climb events). There will be a free bus operating from the rally site to Oreti Beach for the beach racing.
What sort of food is available at the rally? There will be a variety of stallholders at the rally site selling a range of food such as whitebait, seafood, pies, curries, chips, coffee etc. Free tea and coffee is provided. You can also pre-order cooked breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday (this must be done when you enter or if you are registering on the Friday you can order breakfast then).
What can I bring into the rally site? Only bikes and camping equipment is permitted into the site. Vehicles and trailers will be parked in a separate designated area. No glass is permitted on the rally site for safety reasons, and no animals must be brought onto the site. Fires are not permitted. Rubbish facilities are provided and we ask that all patrons clean their campsite before departure. No patches either please.
What are crew passes? You can purchase crew passes ($20 each) for your crew members which will allow them entry into the rally site on Friday and Saturday night only for the entertainment. These are wristbands which can only be fastened once. All competitors also receive a wristband which also allows them into the rally site on Friday and Saturday night only for the entertainment.
I'm a competitor but haven't registered for the rally - can I still camp at the rally site?
Not unless you pay the competitor camp fee of $30. You can either do this online, or via the manual entry form. You will also be able to pay this fee at the rally site on Friday afternoon - but ONLY if you present your competitor wristband to staff on the gate.
Why do I have to pay more than one transponder fee? If you are using more than one bike, you will need to pay a transponder fee for EACH bike. Transponder fees are also separate for each race – i.e. if you are using two bikes for beach racing and two bikes for Teretonga you will need to pay four transponder fees.
Where can I buy spectator tickets from? Spectator passes can be purchased from September at the Invercargill i-SITE or E Hayes & Sons. Invercargill i-SITE Visitor Centre Southland Museum & Art Gallery Victoria Avenue, Queens Park Invercargill Ph: 03 211 0895

I've entered online but I haven't received a confirmation email - why? Check your credit card/bank account to see if the entry fee has been taken out – if it has then the most likely explanation is that you have entered your email address incorrectly. Contact us on
