Thanks! It's been 'One Hell of a Week!'
And the winners are...
Two names have been drawn randomly from everyone who registered online to be part of this year's Burt Munro Challenge. From the competitors Doug Wood was selected, and from the rally participants Eric Henderson's name was drawn. Congratulations guys, you've won your entry fees back!! Merry Christmas from the Burt Munro Challenge organising committee!

Beach Racing - Cancelled
The weather gods have spoken, and we're sorry to have to cancel the NZ Beach Racing Champs. The Friday night Rally entertainment is still happening from 7pm, with Neil Chilton & The Business followed by rockers Sniper Alley until late.
Fingers crossed for a better forecast this weekend!
Spectator Concession Passes
Several people have asked us whether there's a special concession price to attend all racing events. The answer is YES! Simply call the friendly team at the Invercargill i-SITE on 032110895, and for $40 you could be trackside for all six racing events. So what are you waiting for? Give them a call today!
Rally Pre-Registrations have closed
We're excited to see even more pre-registrations than last year! If you've registered, your Rally pack (including all passes and information you need) will be supplied upon arrival at the Rally site.
If you missed the pre-registration deadline, you can still register on the day for $65. It's going to be 'One Hell of a Week!'.
Competitor Registrations have closed
Thank you to the hundreds of riders who have now registered to compete at the upcoming Burt Munro Challenge! It's great to see some familiar names lining up to race, including current NZ and former World Champions. Competitor packs have all been sent, so please contact us if yours hasn't arrived.
Ride Forever
Our friends at ACC have put together an awesome website filled with interesting information and handy hints to get you to the Burt Munro Challenge (and back again!) safely. So before you begin the long ride south, take a few minutes to get some helpful tips online by clicking here. Thanks ACC!
Interislander Ferry discount
For riders coming from the North Island, we're pleased to advise that the Interislander Ferry discounts apply again this year! To take advantage of this great offer (and why wouldn't you??), click here or on the 'Accommodation & Travel' tab above.
Rider Reviver Stop
Hamptons Honda on Carmen Road in Christchurch is the place to stop on Wednesday 23 November for a FREE sausage, water and hot drink!
Bike checks are available as well as fuel discount vouchers. Sounds pretty good to us!
Thanks to IAM, ACC, and Ecan for getting behind this great initiative to keep our riders revived!

VOTE!
If you're travelling south for the Burt Munro Challenge, there's a good chance you'll be out of your electorate when the General Election takes place on Saturday 26 November. If that's the case, you have a couple of options for casting your vote: EITHER you could vote in advance at a polling station in your electorate now (see www.elections.org.nz to find your nearest polling station) OR you can cast a Special Vote at one of the Invercargill polling stations on the day. Whatever you choose to do, be sure to have your say by voting!
Further information about where you can vote will be available at the Rally registration tent.
